My "NEW" Biblical Horoscope

Written on 10/04/21

Given that the Old Testament birthday love note was a million pages and a lengthy read, I thought I’d break it up into Old and New. I’d like to reiterate at this time that his Word spoke to me to find the love, find the note. I felt the undeniable urge to know the verses while I’m in the wilderness honeymoon with Yeshua. If you don’t feel the urge, he’s probably wanting your specific, unique, brain to see something else that is meant just for you. If you feel the urge, then have at it, but remember that Joy is a Choice.

Clearly some verses made me feel apprehensive or maybe a little too revealing of my current fears and struggles. You don’t have to share your journey with anyone and only Yeshua has control over what it is you see and how you receive it and more importantly how you address it. That’s the ultimate beauty here. The Bible was written for mankind’s minds and it’s Truth is embedded in the fact that it can literally speak to every single soul on this planet. Amen!

Matthew: But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

Quite literally the only request in the world is to follow the guidelines and to only worry about myself, control my controllables. I was out of control for years and look what I manifested in this world. My ripples caused promiscuity, it caused doubt, it caused mistrust, it caused uncertainty, it even caused hatred. The only way to retract the ripples is to take accountability for myself. Do you think the same would apply for you as well?

Mark: “They came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him and begged him to touch him.”

This was the second verse that spoke to me to find my date verses. This parable of the blind man had me fixated. Perplexed by verse 21 and then why did he say we looked like that? Why would Yeshua tell him to avoid the village? Now, it’s one of my favorite comforting parables displaying faith, hope, and above all love. We are truly loved.

Luke: “One day he and his disciples got into a boat, and he told them, “Let’s cross over to the other side of the lake.” So they set out,”

I haven’t read Luke all the way through at this point in my walk. Although it’s referenced quite often, I have it marked up, but not yet completed. For some reason, I immediately imagined the Elves in Rivendell from Lord of the Rings as the boat took them to the other side. I feel I’ve already been taken to a greener side, a joyous side, the side where I woke up at 4:30am and went to the gym for 2 hours of my own free will. What?! The girl who never woke up before 9am even when I had to open the store! It’s a new day friends, a new day.

John: So the Jews said again, “He won’t kill himself, will he, since he says, ‘Where I’m going, you cannot come’?”

I haven’t completed this book either. See I’ve come to realize with my specific brain that God wants me to read the back half first. Why? Because I believe you have a choice on which you focus on. Doom and Gloom or Beginnings and Teachings. I prefer the latter so he’s leading me to the back of the books first to work out my fear and mistrust issues first so I can be a better vessel for the future focusing on new beginnings and his teachings. The timing of this quote couldn't have come at a better one…

Yesterday, at the Promise Center, the preacher there explained how God can’t lie. So the adaptations of this world were because he said to Adam that mankind had dominion of this World. So when Sin entered this world through their folly, he simply couldn’t stay. Enter Jesus, who came to fulfill the prophecies, died for our sins - again our whole concept of time revolves around this moment - and made it possible for prosperity on earth. Not feeling prosperous? Well, have we been following the guidelines?

Acts: “Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, your heart’s intent may be forgiven.”

See. I haven’t started Acts either and if you’re wondering what books I have read then it’s pretty much all except the ones I’ve mentioned. I’m almost there and almost done, don’t rush me! As soon as I highlighted it, my lights flickered. I’m reminded of Angel Season 1 where Cordelia has a friendly ghost named Dennis. I know Lord, I know, that one habit is a tough one to kick. Friends, he’s a forgiving God, but if at first you feel shameful about something then maybe it's risen to the surface for a reason. Address it.

Romans: “For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now.”

Dude, I can’t make this up. Enter the Hope! I need to hold myself accountable and ask for forgiveness and if anyone says I’m being too hard on myself then I deeply disagree and will wonder what you’re not holding yourself accountable for and pray you ask for forgiveness of it for a better future for us both for we groan together apparently! I’m laughing a little at this so please don’t be upset with the context.

2 Corinthians: “We have also sent with them our brother. We have often tested him in many circumstances and found him to be diligent—and now even more diligent because of his great confidence in you.”

Man, my brother has been put through the ringer. He has been tested and he is diligent without question. Annoyingly persistent. I pray he doesn’t lose confidence in me, but I would be dishonest to let you all know that he already has. Ha, I’m the test. I’ve been pushing that kid’s button’s since I could remember. If you’ve read Follow the Clues, Connect the Dots then you know how much I love my brother and how much forgiveness I need from him. In time, timing is in fact everything.

Fitting that my love letter would come to its conclusion on my former arch nemesis. I hope this is vivid for you, my readers, my love. The quite literal stepping blocks to a better, brighter, sustainable, and loving future for all our children.

5/5/23 Added Note:

I haven't posted in a while since our family lost our grandmother and now our Aunt Marian. Both are dearly missed. Aunt Marian was the baker of the family, she poured her love into all of our birthday cakes. I'd like to dedicate these last two Birthday posts to her. She was so important in helping me read Genesis in 2021 before I was called by the Lord on 8/4. I owe her my gratitude. Thank you Aunt Marian for every cake, for every hug, and for every correction in mispronunciation of the ancient names.
